I have competition.

So, I don't know how many of you have every seen "Blue's Clues." Zoe loves it, and so me and Mary watch it with her every day. Well, the old host was Steve, and he was sort of cool. Dumb as dirt, but sort of cool. Anyway, he decided to move on to "real acting" or something, so he is turning over the reins to a new guy, Joe. Well, naturally, we watched the "three-part Blue's Clues event" where Steve leaves and Joe takes over. The way they explained it, Joe is Steve's brother and is coming to live in the house while Steve goes off to college. I don't know how well he is going to do in college if he need a little blue dog and a nation of preschoolers to help him figure out that the square peg won't fit in the circular hole, but that is rather beside the point. The point is that Joe is the new host.

So, after the show, my wife proceeded to tell me that, basically, she thought Joe was hot and that she loved him and that, if we weren't married, she would pursue him. And, I suppose that is fair seeing as how she puts up with my adoration of Julie Andrews and Audrey Hepburn, but still. . .
