So, I , like many of you, went to Danielle's wedding this past weekend. For those of you that didn't go, shame on you. It was a very nice wedding. It also reminded me of a thought that I keep having after every wedding I attend: "This is it?" You see, for those of you who haven't walked that road yet, weddings take a lot of planning. You can spend the better part of a year and 1/2 planning those things. And, all that planning culminates in a service that lasts about 1/2 an hour. Don't get me wrong; I'm not lobbying for people to go for one of those 2 hour weddings. I've been to one of those. It's no fun. It just kind of strikes me as a little anticlimactic to have all this time of work lead up to such a short event.

Then again, I've heard similar arguments about sex, but that ain't stopped anybody yet that I know of.
