Okay, so Apalachee High had the pep rally today for the first home football game of the season. It also turns out to be the first game ever played in the newly-constructed Wildcat Stadium (which, as an aside, I must say really doesn't deserve the moniker "stadium." It really isn't that impressive of an arena.) Plus, it is a chance for the kids to get out of class for 30+ minutes. Given all of these factors, you would expect a fired-up student body.

What you got, however, are a bunch of lifeless bodies in the bleachers. Those 1100 kids were quieter than any 20 kids ever were in one of my classes.

I am considering conducting all my future classes in the Wildcat Stadium.
